1959 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible - The most sought-after 1959 model! - Stunning color combination - Optional spoked wheels The 1959 model is undoubtedly the most sought-after among Cadillac collectors, as it represents the pinnacle of a design inspired by excess, flamboyance and of course aerospace. The abundance of chrome, rocket-shaped wings with impressive spoilers featuring ogive-shaped headlights, the wealth of equipment – not to mention the 6.4-litre V8 engine producing 325 hp and its fabulous torque: absolutely everything is extraordinary! This particular example is the most desirable variant, as a convertible. Sold new in the USA, it features the colour which best showcases its breathtaking, chrome-accented design: black. Meanwhile, the interior is finished in red and cream upholstery, adding just the right touch of character to the overall look. It joined the collection of the current owner in 2010, a lover of black Cadillac convertibles. The car was restored (including the upholstery) and was fitted with optional wire-spoke wheels.
