24.5 cm!!!- XXL MESOSIDERITE Slice

In this lot we auction a spectacular complete slice of exceptional quality and size of a mesosiderite meteorite officially classified under the name TANEZROUFT 091 (TNZ 091), being one of the largest and best quality you can find in the world. Mesosiderites are metal-rock meteorites just like pallasites, but unlike them their origin is different: they are the result of a collision between two bodies of different nature in space (one rocky and one metallic). Thus, we can see metal and rock interwoven in a hypnotically beautiful combination. The slice being auctioned is cut with a diamond wire, achieving a large surface area with low weight. It has one polished face with a mirror-like effect and the other unpolished after cutting. We strive to offer the best slices on the market. A fantastic specimen worthy of a great collection or museum. Don't miss this opportunity! All of our meteorites come with an IMCA certificate (International Meteorite Collectors Association), GMA and The Meteoritical Society, associations to which we belong, guaranteeing the authenticity of all our meteorites for life. Buy with guarantees. Regards and our best wishes. CRATER METEORITES
