An Early Fantasyland Bench.

(Disneyland, 1950s) An early metal bench from Disneyland's Fantasyland. The ornate cast metal bench features intricate filigree-like forms painted in whimsical hues of blue, green, and pink. Benches like these were readily seen throughout Fantasyland, their delicate elegance an extension of the land's fantastical storybook theming. Measuring 35.5" x 43.5" and 17.5" deep, the bench is in good condition with some paint fading, flaking, and loss, as well as oxidation, weathering, and soiling.
