An interesting invaluable and useful collection of patch works. The fabrics mostly Victorian and Edwardian patchwork cotton chintz sample pieces, some sewn together ready to use with a similar larger partly made central section of a patchwork cover. All these sample pieces still have there original backing paper. There is also a small bag of original unused scrap fabrics from the period. Central section: 106cm x 114cm. Condition; remarkably good colour and condition, even the larger silk patchwork pieces are not rotten or tender. The bag of sample fabric has a good selection of fabric, they appear to be in good condition.
