Art Nouveau Figural Ewer & A Candlestick, C. 1900 Comprising, a Johann Maresch (Austrian, 1821-1914) large ewer with maiden handle (impressed numeric marks "1730." and "2N."), and a Riessner, Stellmacher & Kessel / Imperial Amphora (Austro-Hungarian, 1892-1945), handled candlestick (impressed numeric marks "3545") having a design attributed to Paul Dachsel (Czech, born 1880), all having a green matte glaze. All appropriately marked. Approximate dimensions: Ewer: 16 x 9 1/2 x 8 in. (40.6 x 24.1 x 20.3 cm.) Provenance: Private Collection of William Douglas Campbell, Chicago, IL.
