Provenance information: Object Registration ID: 731 The current owner purchased this object from a reputable Dutch numismatic auction house in Schiedam, the Netherlands. Due to privacy regulations, the name of the previous owner could not be disclosed. No further information concerning the earlier ownership history of the object was available from the previous owner. Background Information: This bronze spiral ring is characteristic of the personal ornaments widely produced and worn throughout European Bronze Age. Spiral forms are among the most recognisable designs of the period and occur in a variety of objects, including finger rings, earrings, hair rings, bracelets, and dress accessories. Their enduring popularity reflects both their practical function and their decorative appeal.
