The labels state: “Canadian Club” “Canadian Whisky” “Distilled and Bottled under Canadian Government Supervision by Hiram Walker & Sons Limited, Walkerville, Ontario, Canada” Both bottles also clearly state: “THIS WHISKY IS 6 YEARS OLD” The original Italian tax strips are particularly important for dating these bottles, clearly showing 1973 on the first bottle and 1975 on the second. The two bottles therefore form an attractive chronological pair of vintage Canadian Club bottlings from the 1970s. The 1973 bottle is accompanied by its original illustrated presentation box, featuring the historic Canadian Club design and Hiram Walker & Sons branding. Condition: Both bottles are sealed and appear to be intact. The fill levels are very good considering the age of the bottles. The labels show visible age-related patina, yellowing and minor signs of wear, consistent with bottles from the 1970s. The original Italian tax strips are present and show significant age-related wear and deterioration. The 1973 bottle is accompanied by its original presentation box. The box shows visible ageing, staining, rubbing and wear to the edges and printed surfaces, but remains complete and retains its original artwork. The 1975 bottle is offered without its original box. No visible leakage is apparent.
