Todas las subastas / Fotografía / Cédric Brion - Red Obsession (Edition 1/14)
Red Obsession is a contemporary photographic work that explores mystery, seduction and the tension between visibility and concealment. In a dark and intimate atmosphere, the female silhouette appears as an almost enigmatic presence. A intense red veil crosses her face, creating a strong and symbolic graphic rupture. The red becomes here a form of obsession: it draws the gaze, masks identity and introduces a sense of danger, desire and fascination. The contrast between deep blacks, the delicate light on the body and the power of red gives the work a cinematographic and dramatic aesthetics. The photograph invites the viewer to imagine what lies behind this apparent concealment. Description of the Work: - Limited edition photographic work by Cédric Brion. - Portrait Size 59.4 x 42 cm - Date 2026 - Fine Art pigment print Canson Infinity Rag II on cotton (310 g) - Edition 1/14 copies - Hand-signed on the back *Label* + Certificate of authenticity Cédric Brion – Photographer Born in 1978 in Belgium, Cédric Brion is a photographer-artist recognized for his conceptual portraits with dark and cinematic atmospheres. Inspired by fantasy universes and ancient civilizations, he explores through his images the contrasts between shadow and light, revealing the emotional and symbolic dimension of the human face. His work, presented in numerous international exhibitions, notably in London, at the Grand Palais in Paris, at Lille ARTUP in Lille or the Venice Biennale, has been awarded several prestigious distinctions, including a mention at the Salon des Artistes Français, also a gold medal at the Vienna International Photo Awards and a bronze medal at the Tokyo International Foto Awards. Through a singular fine-art aesthetic, Cédric Brion creates portraits as windows opened onto imaginary worlds, inviting the viewer to dive into a visual experience that is both poetic and introspective.
