CHINA--REPUBLIC. Lot of (4). 1919 8% Chinese Government 10 Years Sterling Treasury Notes. Bonds for 100, 500 and 1000 Pounds. K500 to K502. Fine to Very Fine. Signed by Li Si Hao, then Minister of Finance. A complete set of three denominations, including an extra 100 Pounds. Fairly low issue numbers of 9082, 750 and 520, respectively, making the 500 and 1000 Pounds scarce. Issued by the Beiyang Government and tied to a 1919 contract to purchase aviation and military goods from Vickers, a British engineering company. Estimate: $300 - $500. Provenance: From the Yang Ai Hao Collection. 1919年中華民國政府八厘十年期英鎊國庫券100，500及1000鎊。四張。 由時任財政總長李思浩簽署。三種面額全套，另附一張額外的100英鎊券。發行號碼均相當靠前，分別為9082、750及520，致使500英鎊與1000英鎊券十分少見。由北洋政府發行，並與1919年向英國工程公司維克斯採購航空與軍用物資之合約掛鉤。
