CHINA. Tibet. Fantasy Gold 20 Srang, ND (ca. 1920). NGC MS-63. cf. KM-Y-22 (for obverse prototype). Weight: 10.59 gms. Though based off of the contemporary 20 Srang, this RARE fantasy type features entirely different obverse legends and a wholly new reverse bearing a temple design not found on other similar issues. An impressive piece overall that gleams with silky brilliance from frosty, champagne-hued surfaces, and displays sharp and pleasing design details. Estimate: $3,000 - $5,000.
