One-of-a-kind mixed media on surfboard painting by Claire P. Cohen executed on a repurposed fiberglass surfboard. This composition is influenced by Polynesian tribal art and features three stylized sea turtles with vibrant, multicolored geometric shells. The turtles swim across bands of blue, light blue, and yellow-orange, accented by dynamic swirling line work. Signed in black ink "Claire Cohen 2021 at lower right. The verso retains vintage branding and manufacturing marks, including a Quiet Flight triangle logo at the nose, handwritten stringer markings and adhesive decals for Local Motion Hawaii and Hawaiian Island Creations, Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii.
