HIGHLIGHTS: • Rare Datsun 260Z (1974) equipped with the rare Landau roof • From California (USA) and equipped with an automatic transmission • Interior in very nice condition with an original and crack-free dashboard • Supplied with the original American title, booklets, service history and on-board tools • Import duties and VAT for the European Union have already been fully paid HISTORY/OVERVIEW: The Datsun 260Z (S30 series) was introduced in 1974 as the successor to the iconic 240Z and is powered by the well-known L26 2.6-liter inline-six engine. This particular example was new in 1974 delivered in California, which has contributed to the preservation of the body. The car is equipped with a rare Landau roof and an automatic transmission. The vehicle is currently located in Damwoude, Netherlands, and is stored as a runnable basis with original features. BODY/PAINT: The bodywork is in a rust-free condition. The vehicle is fitted with Euro bumpers, a rear window louver, and sport wheels. The paintwork is in a condition that requires attention and should be repainted or updated for anyone who wishes to cosmetically perfect the car. INTERIOR: The interior is in very nice and original condition. A major plus is the dashboard, which remains in intact condition without the typical dryness cracks known for this model. The other interior components and upholstery present a neat, authentic appearance. ENGINE AND TECHNICAL: Under the hood lies a 2.6-liter inline-six engine paired with an automatic transmission. The engine runs well, the automatic transmission shifts properly, and the car is in a drivable technical state. Although the car runs well, it is not yet road-registered and requires a technical inspection for authorization. DOCUMENTS: The Datsun comes with the original American registration title (California). All import duties and VAT for the EU have already been paid. The car includes the original instruction manuals, maintenance documentation and the original onboard tools. Because of its age (over 30 years), a C.O.C. (Certificate of Conformity) is not required for registration within Europe. The car can be viewed in Damwoude, Netherlands. Transport across Europe can be arranged on request and for a fee. Registration, inspection and transport costs are the responsibility of the buyer, unless stated otherwise.
