De Martino, a fourth-generation family winery founded in 1934, is one of Chile's great pioneers, an organic, carbon-neutral estate that helped rescue the country's old, dry-farmed Carignan. This is its flagship VIGNO bottling from the La Aguada vineyard, ungrafted bush vines planted in 1955 on the granite soils of Sauzal in the coastal Maule, a field blend led by Carignan. Luis Gutiérrez from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate gave it a rating of 96.
