Finland, Grand Duchy under Russian rule. Nicholas II. 50 Penniä 1915 - NGC MS65

FINLANDIA. Helsinki. 50 Pennia. 1915. Nicolás II (1894-1917) - Value: 50 Pennia. - Reign: Nicholas II (1894-1917). - Year: 1915. - Inscriptions: Obverse: crowned Russian imperial eagle with central shield and mint mark S under the wing; beaded peripheral border. Reverse: 50 PENNIÄ 1915 within a vegetal crown tied at the bottom with a ribbon; beaded peripheral border. - Grading: MS65 (NGC). Silver 50 Pennia coin minted for the Grand Duchy of Finland under Russian Empire sovereignty, featuring the heraldic-style double-headed imperial eagle with a detailed and strong symbolic presence. The relief is well defined, especially on the wings and central shield, preserving original luster with a light uniform silver patina. The fields show small marks typical of the grade, maintaining a generally fresh and attractive appearance. The reverse, with clear and balanced typography framed by a laurel and oak crown, reflects the sober aesthetic characteristic of Finnish issues from the early 20th century, in a historical context marked by tensions prior to independence in 1917.
