Property of Charles Gay, Savannah, GA Description: George III Oak Tall Case Clock, John Christian, Aylsham, with arched cornice flanked by columns, the brass dial with two train movement and seconds dial and dater aperture, the case with arched door on a plinth. Note : John Christian recorded working Aylsham and Norwich circa 1745, died 1788.Measurements: Height: 96 in. x Width: 17 in. x Depth: 8 1/2 in. Condition: Good condition, age cracks, old marks and scratches, plinth probably later, screw hole to right of upper hinge.
