Gustave Reynaud - Serving dish - Stoneware, Glaze, Ceramic - Gustave Reynaud

Ceramic service or display plate, creation by Gustave Reynaud, from the Mulberry Workshops in Vallauris. Produced around the 1950s/1960s, the plate features the workshop’s signature motifs: the stylized hand-painted rooster, the glaze has a matte chalky appearance and is speckled with chamotte earth. Characteristic signature on the back with the mulberry leaf. Very good condition, no cracks; the stain on the left side of the rooster is a slight firing defect. Careful and insured shipping.
