A beautiful and very well-preserved antique black top hat, complete with its original, rare oval hat box, and gloves. The hat box features a fine wood-grain print and an elegant art-deco/classic logo of the well-known historic "Hat and Cap Warehouse A.H. Willemsen" in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. This lends the whole piece a charming local-historical and authentic character. The hat itself is made of high-quality black material (possibly silk plush or fine felt) with a silky sheen on the top and a stylish finished trim along the curled edge. An iconic piece of fashion history, perfect for collectors, as decor in a vintage shop, or for enthusiasts of historic clothing.
