HONG KONG (SAR). Bank of China. 500 Dollars, 1.1.1995. P-332b. KNB4d. PMG Choice Very Fine 35. AD prefix. The BOC 1995 $500 is the rarest issued note in modern Hong Kong history. For reasons unknown, the Bank did not issue any $20s, $50s or $100s that year. Only the $500 and $1000 were issued, with the former being exceedingly rare and the latter quite scarce.
