Hong Kong Treaty Ports Shanghai Chinese Mail 1914 (c.) small native envelope from Hong Kong to Peking bearing (on the reverse) uncancelled Hong Kong K.G.V 2c. green, the address side (slightly reduced) bears a fine strike of the "SHAI. FRD" straight-line handstamp in black, the reverse bearing a smudged strike of Peking English/Chinese c.d.s. A fine example of this unusual postmark, it is thought that only two have been recorded.
