The AIKON inherits the stylistic heritage of the famous Maurice Lacroix Calypso from the 1990s, reinterpreting it with contemporary, sporty and elegant lines. The distinctive bezel with six applied elements has become one of the main hallmarks of the AIKON collection. This specimen features a refined Silver & Gold configuration, with a stainless steel case and bracelet paired with elements with a yellow gold PVD coating. The surfaces skilfully alternate matte and gloss finishes, creating a strong visual contrast and highlighting the particular architecture of the case. Maurice Lacroix confirms for the Duotone version the use of stainless steel and yellow gold PVD coating. The light soleil-finished dial is completed by applied indices and gold-colored hands, with white luminescent material. At 3 o’clock is the date window, also framed in gold tone.
