There are many ways to showcase a diamond as a solitaire. One of the most understated, wearable, and practical options for everyday use is to set the diamond in a band ring. This band ring was created in the 1930s, as evidenced not only by its striking, streamlined design, which draws on Art Deco aesthetics. The white gold band widens in the center, forming two points that take on an almost futuristic appearance thanks to architecturally stepped facets. Set between them is a solitaire diamond weighing approximately 0.18 ct. The brilliant cut, as we know it today, emerged in the 1930s. Another detail that supports this dating is the way the diamond is set in platinum while the ring itself consists of white gold, a technique visible only under a magnifying glass but frequently used during that time. The ring is comfortable to wear and feels surprisingly heavy on the finger. A simple, classic accessory that can be worn by women and men alike.
