In the series “Transparencies,” we explore a form not as something closed but as a meeting place. We work with overlapping layers, touching and transforming with one another, where color ceases to be a fixed identity and becomes something alive, unstable, profoundly relational. What appears is not the sum of isolated elements, but what happens in that intermediate space, almost invisible, where everything blends and redefines itself. Transparency here is not a simple visual effect but a way of being and thinking about the world. Nothing remains intact: each plane modifies the other and is, in turn, modified. We are interested in that moment when things stop being what they were to become something else, that place where identity becomes permeable, open, in constant transformation. From there, the work also speaks about us. About how we construct ourselves in relation to others, about how we are never entirely sharp nor completely opaque. We are layers, crossovers, interwoven affections. We cross through, we let ourselves be seen, we hide and we change. And it is precisely in that shared, fragile, changing space that something more honest appears: a way of being that is not fixed but continually built through encounter. About MUMA: MUMA is an artistic duo formed by a Generalist 3D designer and a Designer and an Art Historian, all trained at CEU San Pablo University in Madrid. Their artistic practice focuses on the visual arts, with special interest in color, motion, and the dynamism of forms, as well as the variations of the environment. Their work is conceived to integrate into space and establish a direct dialogue with routine and human experience, exploring a vital vision linked to the ideals of Impressionism, such as the relationship with nature, color, and changing atmospheres. MUMA is connected to the professional world of digital and plastic arts in Madrid, with participation in competitions. About preparation, packaging, and shipping of the artwork: The work is hand-signed by the artist duo and comes with a certificate of authenticity also signed by them. The canvas, rolled, is carefully packed in a sturdy cardboard tube and will be shipped within three business days after purchase confirmation. The estimated delivery time will depend on the destination and the chosen transport company.
