icole Lubbers is a Dutch visual artist from the eastern part of the country. She is known for her innovative and independent approach to art and works with different styles, techniques, and forms of imagery. In her work, color, movement, expression, and emotion play a major role. Themes such as resilience, strength, transformation, and overcoming challenges regularly inspire her creations. Her international career has developed strongly in recent years. Lubbers was named Artist of the Year 2024 at the Belgrade Biennale, received the Institutional Award of the Municipality of Montecosaro, and placed second at the World Art Awards as Most Innovative Artist 2024. She was also listed among the world’s top 100 female artists and recognized as a Master in Art. Internationally, her work has been shown and is planned for exhibitions in New York, Venice, Florence, Belgrade, Belgium, China and Montecosaro, in addition to exhibitions in Dutch galleries. A notable highlight is Beyond the Surface, a solo exhibition on Times Square in New York. Additionally, Nicole presents the exhibition Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision together with artist Michael Lam. Two different artistic worlds come together to form a joint dialogue around movement, color, creativity, and transformation. Nicole Lubbers’s work is more than just a visual image. Her compositions invite reflection on perseverance, growth, and overcoming challenges. The bold colors and dynamic visual language make her work a striking statement in both modern and classical interiors. Digital artwork on canvas This artwork is a digital piece designed by Nicole Lubbers and high-quality printed on canvas. It involves no mixed media, and the canvas is not individually painted or retouched by hand. The power of the work lies in the composition, color use, and the distinctive appearance of the design. The print on canvas provides a premium presentation suitable for different interior styles. Delivery and presentation The artwork is delivered unframed and without a stretcher frame. You will receive the canvas carefully rolled, so you can decide how you want to present the artwork. For example, you can have the canvas framed or mounted by a professional framer on a stretcher frame. Important when stretching: please note that at least 5 cm of extra canvas on every side is required for stretching. This edge is necessary to fold and secure the canvas properly around the stretcher frame. Therefore, when determining the final size, allow for a minimum 5 cm extra margin on the top, bottom, left, and right sides. In addition to her work as a visual artist, Nicole Lubbers is also known as a doll maker. The artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity.
