Todas las subastas / Alfombras & textiles / No Reserve - Antique Persian Kashan Dabir Rug circa 1920 - 17 ft x
Curated collection of antique, vintage and modern rugs No Reserve — Antique Persian Kashan Dabir Rug circa 1920 Size: 17 ft x 12 ft (5.18 m x 3.66 m) Provenance: Property of a New York residence A large and finely patterned Kashan rug attributed to the Dabir weaving tradition, featuring an uninterrupted floral design across a brilliant coral-red field. The intricate blossoms and scrolling vines are framed by a contrasting dark border filled with floral medallions. Its impressive 17-by-12-foot dimensions are increasingly difficult to find in finely woven antique Persian carpets, making this an especially useful decorative example for a large room.
