ottaviani - ottaviani - Block carving/ Relief

Ottaviani - Bas-relief with raised effect "Maritime landscape with boats" - Silver Plate / Silver Laminate 925 - Italy - Second half of the 20th century Fascinating and evocative vintage piece with a bas-relief in raised work on a silver plate (or 925 silver laminate), created by the renowned Italian company Ottaviani, a Marche excellence known worldwide for its high-quality processing of precious metals. The work depicts a poetic coastal and maritime scene: in the foreground several wooden boats resting on the shore stand out, while in the background fishing nets are laid out to dry, a traditional fishermen's raft, birds in flight, and a stylized moon or sun in the sky. The three-dimensional details and the play of light and shadow typical of bas-relief give great depth and dynamism to the entire composition. The bas-relief bears the original engraved signature of the author "Ottaviani" at the bottom right. The piece is enhanced by an elegant and modern silver mirror-polished tray frame with a dark background, which highlights its shine. Dimensions: • External (with frame): 41 x 33 x 3.5 cm • Internal (only plate): 25 x 15 cm Conditions: The item presents in excellent overall aesthetic condition, with minimal signs of age on the frame that attest to its authenticity and the era (refer to the photo gallery for visual details). The lot will be packaged with maximum care and shipped via trackable express courier.
