Stunning Alsatian oven dish in like-new condition. This particular model, with its fresh light-green color and contemporary glaze finish, dates from the late 20th century. Oval glazed stoneware terrine/stew pot (often called a Terrine à Baeckeoffe or Terrine à Foie Gras) with a matching lid. Made in Alsace, France, in the traditional style of potteries such as Poterie BECK. Traditional hand-painted Alsatian terrine with a matching lid. Oven and microwave safe. It is commonly used for traditional stews or pies. The distinctive shape of the flat side handles and the tight, rectangular handle on the lid are the most unique design features of this specific model. Shipped with PostNL track & trace.
