Sculpture, Vespa icona italiana - 15 cm - Glass

Blown Murano glass sculpture, created by Fabio Tagliapietra, depicting a wasp with a strong stage presence. The work arises from hot glassworking and the technique of blowing, through which the master shapes the body and volumes of the figure, giving it an expressive and dynamic form. The details and color variations enhance the playful and theatrical character of the subject. Transparency and layering of the glass create evocative light effects, making the sculpture particularly lively and different depending on the lighting.
