Signed and inscribed by James Ramsey Ullman on front endpaper verso, To ___ ___ - With All Good Wishes, James Ramsey Ullman. Book is tight. Binding and hinges are strong. Quarterbound in brown cloth over speckled burlap. Illustrated map endpapers. Previous owner's name and address matching author's inscription recipient stamped on upper corner of half-title page. Faint, scant age spots on page-deck. Minimal age-toning along edge of front panel. Original DJ with $6.00 price intact on flap. DJ shows rubbing along extremities, small chip at crown and some unobrtrusive tape reinforcement. A very nice copy of the mountaineering classic, signed by the prolific author and foremost scribe of early mountaineering titles. VG+
