Timeless Gold Band Ring with Untreated Sapphire & Brilliant-Cut Diamonds

Rings with stones set along the band are also called wedding bands. The sequence of three gemstones can also be interpreted symbolically; it is meant to represent the shared past, present, and future. The focal point of this ring is the largest stone, the sapphire, which represents the present and thus serves as a reminder to make the most of and enjoy the moments at hand. The ring thus becomes a “Carpe Diem!” in the form of jewelry. The band ring features a solidly crafted ring band made of warm, lustrous yellow gold, adorned with three gemstones of beautiful quality. The two brilliant-cut diamonds each weigh approximately 0.20 ct, with a fine white colour and only very small inclusions. They frame a blue sapphire, whose intense colour makes it the focal point of the ring. The sapphire comes from Ceylon and is untreated. This means it has not been heated or artificially enhanced. This makes it one of the rarest sapphires, as most sapphires available on the market have been heated or otherwise treated. It weighs 1.23 ct. This simple yet distinctive ring is of high-quality craftsmanship and was made in Germany during the second half of the 20th century. It came to us from Hanover, but unfortunately its original center stone was lost. We therefore had the sapphire set into the ring.
