Unworn Gold Ring With Madeira Citrine & Diamonds From Our Workshop

Some time ago, we were lucky enough to be able to purchase a large collection of tourmalines and beryls that had been lying dormant in the warehouse of a gemstone dealer in Stockholm since the 1950s. Our goldsmiths designed a ring that presents one of these gemstones accompanied by six diamonds - made from sustainable materials, with diamonds that also had their own history to give the historic materials a new life. What was missing from the collection from Sweden were beautiful citrines and amethysts. When, by chance, we discovered a small number of beautiful, suitable stones in a colleague's collection, we didn't hesitate and bought them. One of these citrines is now set here. It is a citrine in an intense orange-brown, a so-called "madeiracitrine". Its colour is reminiscent of honey and fallen leaves in late sunlight, as if it were carrying the last rays of autumn sunshine. The gold and diamonds used continue to be sustainably sourced from vintage pieces of jewellery. This is the first time the citrine has been used in a piece of jewellery. We like this ring because it is straightforward and allows the beautiful gemstone to take center stage. It can also be combined wonderfully. Which of the sparkling colours do you like best?
