USA 1927 (Jun 4) first Trans-Atlantic flight New York to Germany flown by Chamberlin and Levine (and signed by both), with 'New York Jun 4' departure c.d.s, Germany 25pf applied and tied 'Berlin Jun 6' c.d.s upon arrival. Most covers were destroyed by the German Post Office, so surviving examples are particularly scarce.
