VintageTwin Pillar Dining Table & 10 Chairs by William Tillman 20th C

This is a fabulous Vintage dining set of the highest quality, comprising a Regency Revival dining table and a set of ten bar-back dining chairs in the manner of Gillows, by the master cabinet maker William Tillman, Circa 1980 in date. The table is made of stunning, solid flame mahogany and is raised on a pair of "gun barrel" turned columns on quadruple swept sabre leg bases, which are fitted with brass toes and castors. The table has two leaves which can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion. This makes it a versatile dining table that can comfortably seat twelve people. The superb Vintage set of ten bar-back dining chairs complements the table perfectly. Beautifully handcrafted from solid mahogany, the set comprises two armchairs and eight side chairs, all featuring an attractive bar back design with sabre legs and drop-in seats that have been reupholstered in a stunning gold damask fabric. Transform the fine dining experience in your home with this antique set of dining chairs fit for a king. This dining set was purchased at great expense from the master cabinet maker William Tillman, Crouch Lane, Borough Green, Kent, in the 1980s. It is rare to find such a fabulous and comfortable high-quality dining set. Condition: In excellent condition the table having been beautifully cleaned, polished and waxed and the chairs polished and reupholstered in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation.
