Zippo - No reserve price - Lighter - Steel (stainless)

Zippo - US Army Great Seal Emblem - Black Matte Finish - With Original USA Display Stand In this auction, a splendid, solid and fascinating original windproof lighter by Zippo Manufacturing Company, dedicated to official and historical symbols of the United States armed forces: the model "US Army Great Seal Emblem" (Great Seal of the United States) on a matte base. Unlike the classic metal versions, this model features the refined and elegant Black Matte case (Matt Black), a powder-coated finish very pleasant to the touch and fingerprint-resistant. The front panel is enriched by the application of a detailed three-dimensional metallic emblem with a glossy gold finish. The insignia faithfully reproduces the Great Seal of the United States of America, also used as the official emblem of the US Army: the bald eagle with outstretched wings gripping arrows and an olive branch, protected by the central heraldic shield and topped by a halo of stars. The color contrast between the gold of the emblem and the deep black of the case gives the piece an extraordinary visual impact. A collectible piece with strong character, ideal to enrich military (Militaria) themed collections and American institutional heritage, or as a sturdy and refined everyday accessory."
